Tony Scott has workedand exhibited in the Asia Pacific region for over twenty years. He has held 40 solo and group exhibitions in China since 1994 when he staged his first exhibition at the prestigious Red Gate Gallery in Beijing. His practice is committed to cultural exchange between Asia and Australia.

To develop and implement these projects Scott has been awarded a touring grant from the Australia China Council / an exhibition grant from the City of Moreland, Melbourne / an International Touring and Export grant from  Arts Victoria / an exhibition grant from the City of Yarra,Melbourne / an exhibition and Touring grant through the Australian Embassy, Beijing / an exhibition grant from the Australian High Commission, Singapore / a residency grant in Beijing from the Australian China Council and an Exhibition grant from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DEFAT). In 2013 he was one of three artists short listed for the Individual Artist Award from the Australian Federal Government, in recognition of Australian cultural achievement in Asia.

He has been awarded numerous commissions including the Grand Hyatt, Beijing, / Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong, / Crown Casino and Hotels, Melbourne, / Australian National Bank, London & Melbourne / Standard Chartered Bank, Tokyo, / Ritz Carlton, Beijing / Park Hyatt, Sanya, Hainan and Shangri La Hotels in Hong Kong, Dalian, and Xiamen, China.
